S5 T2 ECU/Harness

Anyone selling an American S5 T2 wiring harness and/or ECU... Or know who might have them? Getting ready for swapping.

Keeping the NA harness is easier.

Thanks, I just came across one and got it for a decent price. Ive heard that the N370 goes in the best, even though an N/A harness works...any problems I might see?

Another general question...would you go with the Walbro 255 fuel pump or the original TII fuel pump for a swap?

If you eliminated emissions, save your money. Theres only 2 plugs that are different, the boost solenoid (which you won't need if you removed emissions) and the knock sensor (which i've heard a few people say is worthless anyway) which if you wanted to keep is a simple splice of one wire.

Not sure you get it. The turbo ECU (the N370 you mentioned) plugs right into the NA engine management harness. You just change 3 easy things on the harness, and you're done.

To adapt a turbo harness into an NA car, you need to change about 10-15 things that range from easy to pain in the ***.

Cheaper. Easier. Better.

So youre saying that the turbo harness will have things I need to change even when plugging into a turbo engine of the same year? Ive been told conflicting information... Example?

The engine management harness plugs into more than just the engine and the ECU. It also plugs into the front harness, which runs to the intstrument cluster & halfway around the rest of the car. That is where the re-wiring problems come in, in addition to having to re-route the alternator wiring because the turbo harness doesn't include it like the NA engine management harness does.

Ok Ill definitely put more effort toward using the N/A harness then. Im just making sure since I didnt make it clear this is an S5 to S5. I have an 89. So still use the N/A harness?

Ok looks like the overwhelming decision is N/A harness. Thanks guys. From here I guess its just plug and chug off of 1/10,000 separate threads people have made on here.

Goes right in.
The plugs are the same, just the 3 wires. All US spec parts just makes it that much more simple for you. Hell you can even keep the gauges if you want to. Watch your redline though....
