S5 to S4 Swap Wiring questions. Not Like any other car!

Long Story Short, Car was originally s4, Front Harness is replaced with s5 from a jdm rhd front clip. however im still using the s4 turbo engine with s4 engine harness and alternator harness. the only issue i couldnt figure out so far is the far right plug on the s4 t2 ecu which connects to the dash harness is completely different because its made for the s5 ecu. All i need to know is if those 2 plugs have the same set of wiring that i can just color match it over, or does it have to be pin matched and if so, is there any diagrams?

The plugs are not compatible thus you'll need to figure it out pin by pin.

thanks, besides the chassis harness plug that goes to the ecu, that should be the only one that will stop it from not starting right? haven't gotten that far yet, just looking for a heads up

You state you have an S4 ECU plug which needs to mate w/the S5 front harness. You look at the S4 emission plug and start at pin 1A. You look at the wiring diagram for the S4 and figure out what that pin does specifically and then find the corresponding wire from the S5 front harness and go from there.

Just a reply to say Satch is right.

I have done research on this as I'm about to do wore in S4 ecu and engine harness to an S5 car. Just repin accordingly on that single plug.

You may want to go to a junkyard and cut that plug so it actually fits. Older Mitsubishi, Ford and I THINK older Toyota share the plugs. I know Mitsubishi for fact.
