Talking S5 Manifold Help

Alright so let me start off with the car and whats been done. Its a 1991 Mazda Rx7 N/A. Its got HKS exhaust system,Pacesetter header, Cusco LSD,and Hawk Pads. THe problem: Its the whole idling issue and we all mnow how much of a pain in the **** it is.Its my friends s5 and i thought why not help him out.It all started when his roommate thought he can remove the rats nest and have it idle perfectly when he doesnt even kno how to do it.When i looked at the manifold everything was practically plugged except few lines and the oil injectors werent even getting vaccum. So i brought my t spitter and re routed some stuff took sum plugs out ( were covered in silicone ).The cars runs but no idle. Now i need yall to either show me exactly how it would look if someone eliminated the rats nest an it runs perfectly or if i should just help him get a s5 manifold and put the another rats nest back in it ( we dont have the old one,the roommate being a jackass had completely bent and snapped the lines).it would be the easy way but hard to find an s5 manifold in GA. So please help. any advice will help.

Remember, when following emissions removal writeups, NEVER remove the BAC valve.

It will hurt idle under load conditions caused by P/S, A/C or just electrical loads like the headlights or e-fans.

I removed my BAC when I removed the rats nest and went to a simplified vacuum layout. Car has power steering and A/C. I also did the throttle body mod at the same time. I set the idle up to 1100 to 1200 rpms and never have had a problem with the car regardless of the load on the engine. The BAC does fix the problem of idle under load. Its a personal preference I guess.

As someone else posted check out www.rotaryresurrection.com for emissions removal. Really a lot of helpful information

So you do have a problem, because your idle is at 1100-1200 RPM, and the factory spec is 750 +/- 50.

If the BAC was still there (why on Earth would one remove it?) then you could have the idle set to the factory spec and not experience issues.

I have my BAC removed on my s5, well not really removed, more like unplugged since it is stuck.

I idle at a nice 750-800 rpm, but when on load like electrical load and turning it drops to 700-750 rpm. Too lazy to get another one lol.

Some carb cleaner would probably unstick it.
