S4 TII and N/A transmission wiring~

I searched and found no information about this. I was just wanting to know from the guys that TII swapped and used an N/A harness, did you have to rewire the transmission wires? or was it plug-n-play?

Did you look in the FSM wiring diagrams? It's all there in detail. That's the first place you should look for wiring info.

i kinda had the same problem. i went from s4 tII to s5 TII tranny. The s4 has 4 connectors on the tranny while the s5 has 2 connectors... And they were diff type of plugs... i just leftt hem unconnected.

Alright, I looked in the FSM and looked at the two transmission switches on my tranny. (it's out of the car btw.) I have found the neutral switch just fine. The other switch, which I do not know the name of, is NOT in the same spot as the one pictured in the FSM. So, I loosen it up and take it out... it's longer and looks like some sort of thermostat or something. Not like the neutral switch which pushes in. Is this because it's a JDM transmission??

I wish I could post a pic... but no digital camera. Someone with a JDM tranny may know what I'm talking about.

The 5th/reverse switches are in different places on S5 NA and Turbo gearboxes. The Turbo's is further back and points rearwards instead of sideways. Are you sure this isn't an S5 gearbox?

The JDM engine is a S4... I know that for sure. The transmission came with the engine. So, the one that is in rearwards is the 5th/reverse switch? It has like two prongs coming out of it.
