S4 T2 no start. No spark got fuel.

87 Rx7 Turbo II

I had the car running/driving multiple times. Ran amazing. Parked it for a while. Clean the engine bay. Went to start it but the 30amp ignition fuse under dash was out. I replaced it and it started just fine. I came back this moring to try and start it and no spark again. The fuse wasnt blown this time. I have checked all my grounds and coil wires and looked everywhere for a broken/bad wire but found nothing.

I checks the resistance on my coils and they were 13.XX (.2 to 1.0 is spec)
The resistance on the cas was like .566 (110 to 210 is spec)

WTF is going on with this car!?

I noticed when the fuse went out the SAFC wouldnt turn on.... it doesnt turn on still but the fuse is good.

Why is there no spark?

The CAS and both coils tested good in ohms. All the fuses have voltage and are good.

HELP

How did you find this out? Did you check pin 3I( 12 volts with key to on) at the ECU?

Does your main relay click with the key to on? One way to make certain it clicks is to remove the "two wire plug" from the main relay with the key to on and as the plug is removed the relay should click and also click when reconnecting the plug as well.

The main relay is a 5 wire correct? I dont know if my main relay is connected to the chassis anymore. Anyone got a pic of what it looks like?

I thought i had the main relay.... yellow bottom, black top, 5 prong with 3 on top and 2 on bottom, use to be attached to steering colum?

You described the "circuit opening relay." The main relay is located by the trailing coil and has two plugs, one with four wires and the other with two wires.

The four wire plug of the main relay has a B/W wire which receives voltage from the W/L wire. The W/L wire comes from the engine fuse box and always has voltage. Check this wire for voltage for it should have battery voltage. Also, when the key is to on and the relay clicks the relay passes the voltage from the W/L wire to the B/W wire so with the key to on check for voltage on the B/W wire.

EDIT: The W/L wire comes from a 30 amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box.
