s4/s5 swap question

so i am putting a s4 motor into a s5
i did not change the front cover because i decided to just hook the mop up and tie it out of the way and run pre-mix... that would work, right?

but the waterpump... on the s5, tehre are 2 sensors, and on the s4, ther eis only room for 1 sensor, is it ok to leave the other sensor unplugged?
