I am in the process of doing it now on my 86 GXL. The 86 does not have the clip holes in the door, so you will have to use trim tape/adhesive. I am using 3M products to do this.

I have the s5 front on my car with s4 molding...later on I will switch it all over when I find the molding. I dont even know if Ill fool with the rear bumper...IM considering the bomex side and rear skirts, and I think that rear bumper is a replacement, not a cover, so I might not even need a bumper at all, and getting a s5 version would be a waste of money.

Look below for the pic of my front and s4 car.

I was looking at this picture and I think I noticed something. The little piece of trim between the door and the rear wheel well. To me it looks like the s4 trim. if it is, why didn't you replace it? Were there any problems with that?

when i got the trim pieces those werent with the rest and i couldnt find them by the time it was time to get the car paitned so i just left them on. doesnt look to noticeable or bad in person. but theres no problems with fitting those pieces on it, just ignorant error and didnt have the time to get them. ah well..you win some you loose some

it really depends where you get the pieces, either from another person off of their car or a junkyard. mine were from a junkyard for less than $100. then of course how much ever it costs on top of that to get them painted obvisouly.
