tranny temp gauge worth it?

is a transmission temp gauge worth havinG? are there even hookups or a place to put it on an 87 t2?

If you plan on running an endurance race of 3+ hours it might be something to consider buying.

I have seen only a few tranny temp gauges installed on cars at SCCA club racing events (they are much more common on the trucks that tow the cars to the track). And I can't recall a single one on an FC.

As long as your exhaust is not touching the transmission you should have nothing to worry about when it comes to the temperature.
