S4 engine/trans in a s5 car.. questions about the swap
Buying a good compression engine/tranny/wiring harness off a friend for 200 dollars and I'm trying to make sure I have everything needed to do the swap. I've been reading on Rotary Resurrection and it seems like I should keep all my s5 engine parts/wiring harness and put the intake manifold from it onto the s4 engine. I guess all I'm wonder is if anyone who has done this before can tell me some of the issues they ran into. I have close to 15 people that have offered to help me swap it so I'm sure if a problem shows up we can figure it out.

Thanks, I was all over the RotaryRessurection sites.
If I use the s4 trans can I still use the S5 driveshaft and rear?
All my s5 engine componets are good still it is just the engine itself is.... "blown".
The s4 engine has the air pump off and blocked already.
Will this matter if I leave it blocked off ?
I know s5's get f'd up if you take the air pump off because of the six port "thing"...
