Just installed my engine. Wont run.

I just finished installing my 13b into my 86 base model. Before it just flat out wouldnt start. Started messing with the idle and variable resistor screws. then it would start but not stay started for more than 5-10 seconds. Then my resistor broke so i just got the new one in. Installed it now when i start it, it jumps to about 3k rpm then dies. Does anyone have any ideas? Hopefully this can be an easy fix and not something internal. Any ideas?

The above post plus.........huge air leak such as the turbo inlet duct has a crack in it or one of the items plugged into is are/is not plugged into it.

The hose b/t the BAC and turbo outlet duct is not connected up.

Brake booster nipple on the back of the throttle body not connected up.

AFM fuel internal fuel switch open to the circuit opening relay. To overcome this just leave a jumper in the yellow two socket fuel pump check connector to simulate that switch making.

Yea its fresh. only parts that arnt new are the rotor bearings. But what happens it it will start, rev to about 3500-4k rpm then dies. I checked all the vacuum hoses. Nothing is unpluged. every hose is acounted for. I dont know what it can be.

So the housings and irons are new? Rebuilds with used housings hate to idle for a while. I had to adjust my throttle stop for the first 50 miles or so.
