will a s4 /na {auto tranny } driveline work in s4 5 speed na 7 ?

Yes, but you will have to fabricate a custom transmission mount. Also, it's a big waste of time, since the RX-7 auto transmission sucks. You'll find threads where people are getting rid of the auto in favor of a manual trans.

u dont under stand i v drove a 5 speed 4 30 years i bought 2 parts cars 1 an auto. and have 2 runners . just need to no if inter change :}

Yes. Search for a how to on the 5 speed swap, and do the opposite.

NO The auto Drive line WONT work with the 5 speed. the auto drive line is longer. and YES i did an auto to manual swap. and changed the Drive line.

Driveline = transmission, driveshaft, rear end & half shafts.

You can interchange all of this, as long as a custom trans mount is made.

What can't do is use an auto driveshaft with a manual NA transmission, or vice versa.

I kept the auto rearend with the 5 speed. I think i might change it. I dont like the gearing. Its ok for everyday driving though. However if you like to drift and do burn outs the gearing is such that you will end up burning the clutch
