S/4 4port N/a intake questions ?

My motor died recently gonna be pulling it out I assume its a corner seal
Gonna be doing a rebuild keep in mind i want to keep this N/a its my DD I will be doing a boosted FC later down the road

This is for my 87 N/a S4 Sport model

heres what i have that i have been collecting dust waiting for my motor to finnaly go
A complete S5 N/a block disassembled in great condition
S4 T2 Irons
And a complete Racing beat Road race exhaust (True Duals)

I am planning on doing a street port Goal 200whp

Now my questions are if I use the S4 turbo irons for my build can I just get a t2 LIM bolt it to my N/a UIM Im not sure if it will fit
and could I still use my stock S4 ecu and injectors to run it?

The reason I want to build this as a 4port is I am told I can see more HP n/a and later down the road I might want to do a t2 swap use this motor and run low boost

If these answers are around on the boards my advanced searching is sucking cause all im finding are N/a to T2 swap threads

Any advice will help

I'm pretty sure the T2 LIM and the NA UIM will not normally match up.. You'd have to modify things to get them lined up.

If you did, your ECU and injectors wont care.

You might see higher peak power, but your power/torque wouldn't be as good through the range.

Besides not having the right bolt pattern, sticking an NA UIM/plenum on a TII LIM would put it into the hood. The TII LIM goes up much higher than the NA version. If you build a 4 port block, you would be needing a TII LIM/UIM or something custom.

yeah your right, I wasn't thinking about clearance issues with the hood, if I ran T2 Lim/Uim could I just adjust my injectors to the intake and run my s4 n/a Ecu? or should I be looking at modifying my N/a harness for a t2 Ecu?

If you're serious about this goal on a normally aspirated engine, you'll need a tunable ECU and, more importantly, fix any existing issues.

I have a Ms2 unit and a Nafc neo, as for that goal its more like a high hope was just trying to figure out my Intake issue

I really doubt the engine failure was due to one corner seal...

If you use a S4 UIM/LIM you can port match it to work.

t2 engines can be run in NA mode all the dang time. just change where the battery is located, and put the airflow meter there. good to go.
