Which rotor housing is this?

Anybody knows which housing is this from the picture? The one on left is a S5 turbo. The one on the right is a turbo also but what series is this. I have never seen this before. Look at the difference by looking at the arrows. There is a different shape above the trailing spark plug.
Maybe some of you engine builders can tell me.

s4 turbo motors had the knock sensor hole on the center iron...so it must be a 13b-rew or 13b-re housing...(if you are sure the one on the left is s5 turbo)

Whats a rensis housing look like? it sure'y isnt a BREW and i'd have to look at the 13b-re at my friend's garage to know for sure, but i dont think it's the 13b-re either, nore is it a 13b-GSL, maybe 74-78 13b?

It's definately a turbo housing. All the S5 housings I have seen look like the one on the left in the original pictures.
Here is a pic from the exhaust side.

I am lost with this one..

The water passage is sealed...I think all turbo motors had those open.

maybe it's an s5 turbo, but a later casting one, like made in the late 90s?

no matter what it is excactly, it's got a turbo water port, and open exhaust. this could be used for s5 turbo or n/a.

Water passage is open.
This was on a engine that had S4 accessories. S4 turbo, S4 UIM & LIM , S4 front cover. I know that doesn't mean **** but see if it might help.

Like I said. It doesn't look like anything from S4 to s6

So it should be something older

it's not an 13b-re, i checked my friends motor last night. haven't seen a 74-78 housing in a long time, but there's a 10a over in the back of a shop i used to work at. measure the distance between the spark plugs holes, measure on the bottom of the top lip and top of the bottom lip, on the outside( where T and L are ) on the VERY outside edge. if it's 28mm, it's s5+ all other 13b's PRE-1989 were less then that like 24mm(?). like i said it could be a recast of an s5 turbo housing.

the s4 JDM turbo rotor housings (n318 cast by where the oil injector is) have the S5 plug spacing, but no knock sensor.

there is a weird hybrid S4.5 engine, n340, i can't recall what the difference is, but its like s4 with the electric metering pump or something?

There was a turbo first-gen available in Japan, I saw one of the engines on ebay a couple years back, but it may have been a 12a.

This is too funny. This housing has been sitting for over two years and last week was when I actually noticed it didn't look like the S5 housing inside my car.
I put it up here figureing you guys will tell me what it is. And you guys haven't seen one like it either.
It has to be some kind of JDM that's the only way I see it, but what series.
This is weird.
