Talking Road Rage....

So, some ******* jumped in front of me on friday and locked his brakes and went sliding all over the road... Luckily, I had good brakes, so when I hit him it wasnt that bad (just scratched paint). but anyway, the guy took off on me and I was trying to honk my horn to get his attention, but it died... So, I chased after him, I wanted to kill him. However, while trying to get the horn to work, I ended up punching the steering wheel and cutting my knuckles... well, I guess I hit it pretty hard... the two bolts that held the column up came out and the wheel and everything fell into my lap... Well, I fixed everything, but the steering wheel seems to be really close to the turn signal and cruise control switches, their is no clearance--I cant even fit my fingers between them... Has this ever happened to anyone? Is it likely that when I punched it I moved the whole assembly back a few inches or do you think the steering wheel could be dent in or something???

next time try paragraphs???

anyway, the steering column height is slightly adjustable by those same bolts. BUT there is also a collaspable section in the steering column, that if you damaged would need to be replaced, as it is designed to give in the event of a accident.

Generally, I'm not a violent person... but when I get mad I get really mad.

If it is the collapsable section and not that you just mounted the column back up incorrectly, you you would want to replace the whole thing with junk yard one. But mind you that it is designed to collapse at a +25 MPH head on accident. I doubt that in your Eric Banner rage you could have collapsed that with your hand. If you could then you need some serious anger management care. (I am not teasing on that, dead serious)

I thought the Incridible Hulk was Bruce Banner?

Serous though, if it wasn't the colision that collapsed it, you may want to get on some meds.

Yes he was, but clearly this man is not the Hulk he is Bruce's measly twin, Eric.
