Rewinding Alternator

Instead of upgrading to a 3rd gen alternator, has anyone successfully taken their S4 alternator in and had it rewound to put out more amperage?

There are some people that will do that for you, one of them is Alterstart. Thier price is 199.99 for an FC alternator re-wound to 135 AMPS.

Man I called around one time and everyone said there is no "kit" for out alternators. They said they could sell me some universal alternator and make it work or something. Oh well, a S5 should work for a while.

Ryde or Die, Their is a shop over here by the beach in Clearwater, This guy Scott, mods our alternators for $30.

You have to pull the alternator and bring it to him and he modifies it and tests it before you get it back, and it really only takes him maybe 20 minutes.

Are you going to Club 1320 this Friday?

I want to get everyone to go.

O ya? What if the alternator needs rebuilt? And how many amps does he make it?

Oh and I've never heard of club 1320, is that across the bay?
