Shake ,rattle and .......

As the weather gets cooler it seems as though the bothersome noises appear from the loose and or aging parts in the 2nd gen. The question is can the interior be dismantled and put back together tighter? Any suggestions appreciated. By the way it's a 88 GXL with new KYB's and Eibach springs and 4 new Bridgestone Pontenzas and new plugs which made a big difference in performance. On the way is Bonez Super Flo and RP catback!

Well, there's a zillion potential sources for funny noises, not all of which are interior parts. You just have to take each one by itself.

As Dale stated, work on them 1 at a time.
FYI-My '89TII that I purchased new, 157,000 miles, not a squeak or rattle. The only noise I occationally hear is from the overhead molding, which started after the dealer serviced the seat belt.
