Rev Limiter

Well one thing to know about microtechs, they come locked to whatever engine you specify.
For example, lets say you bought an LTX-12, and told them it's going to be paired with a 20B. They'll load up a stock map for a 20B, and your ems is essentially locked to that engine. If you want to set it up for a 13B you have to send it back to microtech in Aus.
If you're going to run the ems on both the 13B and 20B, i'd recommend a Haltech instead.

Yep, friend got stuck with a $300 price tag to reconfigure his Microtech.
You might want to keep this in mind if you're thinking about going with the Microtech.
Are you going stand-alone EMS *soley* for the rev limiter?
All of the stand-alone EMS' can adjust redline.

The car already has the Micro installed in the 13Bt. I have no issues in sending it latter to be reconfigured for a 20b. Is just the car will be used in Solo racing and I want to be safe with a Rev-limiter...
