Rev limiter

Anyone know how to disable the rev limiter in a stock S4 ecu?

Not sure but why do you want to? I've never found my rev limiter and the motors don't really make power past it anyway. Unless you have a large streetport

That would be the reason! A buddy is at a race now and is getting killed with the limiter. BTW if you haven't hit the limiter lately give it a spin. The worst thing you can do to a rotory is to never rev it or lug it around shifting at 3500rpm. Carbon will build quicky and compression will follow shortly

peak power is at 6500 in an s4 and 7k in an s5, so you would want to shift 500-1k rpm above this, where the curve falls off to the point that you would make less or the same power after the shift at 5kish

I'd also like to know how to disable it, some people claim to not have one...

You can't, it's programmed into the ECU.
