I wouldn't suggest it. You might get some negative attention from the local law. Your ears would be ringnig after a bit. I am contemplating what to do for my exhaust. I replaced the cats with a catco unit so I need some sort of catback. I will probably make my own custom system. I am not sure what mufflers I want to use. I want performance, but I want quiet. Sorry about jacking your thread. I'd put mufflers on it.

the reason the cat has to go is its all screwed up. theres leaks all through it and it is terribale so were just putting in a single peice of pipe in place of it.

awesome but its ungodly loud and i got pulled over within 5 min of being on the road the first time i took it for a spin.... if you do just remove the cat it will have a nice sound to it especially if you have an aftermarket muffler... make sure the mufflers are packed with steel.... otherwise they will fail in a short amount of time from teh severe heat
