Replacement for Eibach Springs?
Hey Guys, I have a set of Eibach springs on KYB AGX's. I would like to lower the car a little bit more than it currently is. As I understand Eibachs are 1 inch front and .8 rear.
Im happy with the eibachs as far as ride quality, but I prefer to run the stock vert wheels and with 205 60 15's it has some 1/1.5 inches of wheel gap that I would like to reduce.
I would like to stick with Progressive springs if possible.
The tanabe gf210 drop 1.5 so thats better than what I have now, but Im concerned about the ride quality.
Racing beats have the same drop as what I have now, what are my other options?
Do the slip on "coilovers" have any downsides?

You can get the lower kit from Mazdatrix which will lower the front of your car another 3/4 inch.

All you are replacing are the strut tops. Might be another way to go.

check around the classifieds and you might be able to come up n some ground control sleeve overs. gives you a lot control over your ride height without droppin the coin for full blown coilovers.
The G/C sleeves are really good for the price you pay for them. They can lower the car up to 2.25in I believe? Not too sure on how much exactly. And, G/C are perfect for performance and ride comfort & you can still adjust ride height. Although If I were you I would save up money for shocks that aren't ****. G/C Koni Yellow setup is one of the bests setups you can go with. Will blow a lot of Japanese based coilovers outta of the water. Although Koni yellows aren't a direct fit in FC's, you can machine them down& they'll slide right in.
I'll be following this. I have agxs and I'm waiting on getting springs. The gc's look good for lowering but I'm worried the ride will be super hard. I sent ground control an email asking if they have progressive springs that will fit the sleeves. I have not heard back yet.

i really like my gc's with agx's. i keep the agx's dialed pretty soft for my daily commuting. on the softer settings (like 1 front and 3 rear) i get a fairly smooth ride even with the stiffer springs. when the weather is nice and i feel like railing it out a bit i'll crank the shocks up (3-4 front and about 7-8 rear) and it really tightens things up.
