its easy to get it out.

remove the driverside a-pillar panel, remove the metal dash panel (the one that meets the windshield.

once its removed, you can see the plug down in the hole from outside the car...get back inside, and unclip it, it pulls out fairly easy.

installation is the same as removal.

it really is easy...2 screw's, and a bunch of clip's that pop up easily.

after the first time, you should be able to get it out in under 5 minutes.

No, don't kill yourself- save that for a more worthy cause- and don't cut the wires- that's just bush league.

The connector you can't find is stuck all the way up at the top of the firewall.
Remove the bezel covering the defroster vents (one screw in the middle and a couple of snap connectors on the sides) and you'll see the fitting you need...it's right in the middle of the windshield.
Before you pull it out, do yourself as favor.
Tie a piece of string (3' long) around the connector and fish it through with the old wiring.
Untie and leave in place.
When you install the new Logicon, affix the string to the new connector and use it to pull the wiring back up into place...be careful, there's a lot of crap between the Logicon location and the firewall to get snagged on.

Don't be such a *****.
Staying on top of your maintenance is part of car ownership...even the crap jobs like this one.
Do you wait till your oil is all gone before changing it?

First Logicon I swapped took about an hour.
Second time was maybe 30 minutes...it's not that hard once you know how it goes.
