FL redlining at 5k or 6

ok i been having a problem with my car for the past 2 months , i've had done all grounds except for the one under manifold but i think it fine cause i did a emission removevaul a couple months ago and i checked it and was fine it visauble,i changed the o2 sensor like 5 months ago and plugs too, changed the fuel filter and fuel pump and also the fuel strainer, replace the map sensor for a fairly new one and it still does it, then one week ago i decide to unplugged the air temp sensor and it ran perfect untill sunday, my friends says that might be the air temp sensor and others says that could be the tps, i've checked the tps by the fsm, from pin (a) to pin (b) at idle position is at 1.35k ohms and at wide open throttle position same pins is at 6.34k ohms,
and at pin (a) to pin(c) at idle position, at 6.36k ohms and at wide open throttle position is at 1.63k ohms,
is that normal?

if you wont rev past 5k or 6 try reving to 5k then giving just enough throttle to pull further, If you pull further then your fuelpump is crapping in your face.

I'd doubt its your fuel pump. N/A fuel pumps really don't get worked hard enough where a load/rpm condition will create a leaning issue.

Hi

Having a hesitation problem myself, I checked my TPS yesterday by measuring the resistance between the top and the bottom right pin. This was the supposed right way to measure it according to a Rotary-guru I asked.

My TPS have a range between 0.37k - 5.31k and it is "moving" between these values smoothly and without any disturbance in the values.
It is today set to 1.98k at idle and 5.31k just before the throttle leaves the TDS.
OK, I know I need to adjust it to 1k at idle accoring to spec. Will do today.

These values are not too far away from what Mario1386 have.

RETed, why would the TPS be...broken, when it seems to be working according to spec?

Best regards
Goran

When TPS is new, it'll typical read under 5k-ohm at WOT.
When it gets old and worn, the resistance starts to rise.
If the resistance gets over 5.5k-ohm, I can gurantee you it'll affect WOT performance.
If resistance is between 5k and 5.5k-ohm, it might or might not affect WOT performance.

The OP measured resistance over 6k-ohm.
I put money replacing the TPS will solve this problem.

Ok, interesting experience.
I will keep it in mind since mine is getting close to the "red area".

Thanks
