Question rebuild idles erratically and and bogs...

i finally got my car to run. it drives fine, sometimes. it it hard to start unless i mess with the fuel cut switch. my problem is the way that it runs. when it starts, it idles without dying. but while idling, it idles really erratically and i cant figure out why. when i drive it at a constant speed, it will sometimes act like it is not getting fuel, then i let foot off gas and press it again, then it will go.what is it?

timing is good, i think. i did it myself with help frm others on this site.

ignition. it gets spark. maybe the coil(s), wires, or plugs?

fuel pressure(regulator).

fast idle adjust cam screw?

pulsation damper?

i dont know, i just need some suggestions from fellow rx7 owners, PLEASE???

When i first got mine, it also flooded very easily, new plugs and wires fixed that and improved gas economy by a lot.

Also, when you first start it up the Accelerated warmup probably keeps the revs higher, which would let it idle till it warms up. As for fixing it there are a lot of faqs about what to check

maybe its the BAC? the little screw on top of the throttle body coverd by a black plastic cap. I had an idle problem too and after many hours and tinkering around I found it was just that little screw was too tight...

Was this rebuild on used housings? It can take some time for them to seat properly. Can take 1000 miles even.
