Arrow Rear Defroster

my rear defroster isn't working. im gonna check the fuses when i get home from

work today, but i was wondering if it might be something else that might

commonly happen. any ideas would help greatly. thanks in advance for your help.

Tap your button and you should hear a relay in the rear area click.

Typically, the defroster grid gets scratched up by **** that you put in the cargo area.
Check for voltage at the wires that attach directly to the top of the glass.

i hear the relay when when i push the button. do i still need to check for voltage at the top of the glass?

If by chance you have the relay exposed to look at and with the key to on and the defroster button depressed the Black/White wire coming out of the relay should have voltage on it.

ok so i listened for the relay and heard it. then i checked for power at the

window. the driver side did have power but the pass side didn't i'm guessing it

needs power to both. does any body know where thing cross in the car. my

carpet is pilled up so i'm hopeing some where across the floor. i was also thinking

about running a wire from the driver side across to the pass side. that should

work right?
