its true and it says it right on their site! you need to buy the racing beat presilencer or have a pipe made using a set of flanges. I say you get the presilencer because thats where the actuation for the six ports comes from. Its the small tube coming off your cat. The presilencer and header combo is what I just put on my 88 and it sounds brutal!

so u can connect the header to a, down pipe which connects to the, pre silencer which conects to the, y-pipe
RIGHT.............. does that sound like a good set up all of them by racing beat.......

UHm, I dunno if youd want to call it a downpipe. There is maybe like 5 inches or something between the flange on the header and the main cat. If you get the pre-silencer, it connects from the header to the Y-Pipe, bypassing the cat. This is not emissions legal, so for me I needed to have a cat. I happen to have had a Bonez High-flow cat, so I welded the 5 inches of pipe that I needed to the one side, and a flange. Ill draw a diagram for ya

Anyone know if the RB headers will bolt up to a bonez high flow cat (one that replaces all the cats on the stock rx-7 n/a, which it bolts up to the original headers) ?

A Bonez high-flow cat only replaces the main cat. Now if you get a system, such as the superflow, this replaces the 2 pre-cats with a silencer, and the main cat with a high-flow cat. It bolts from the stock exhaust manifold to Y-pipe. I had this before I got my header, and hacked it up to get the cat.

Kevin over at Rotary Resurrection has my whole exhaust set up from my GXL Street Port Project, Its a custom made kit, it sounded killer and flowed great. Its a true dual RB header back to 2 resinators, to fight the loudness, then back to twin apexi n1 90mm. Not knock offs. If anyone is interested email him, hypntyz@charter.net, tell him its about groundzeros exhaust.

Anyway, I am planning to get a new cat using the bonez flanges and pipes.
Rxmfn7.
Can you please measure the lenght of your cat assy from the begining y-pipe to the end of the header. I want to fab the pipe myself but needs the spec.
Thanks!
