hey guys im running an intercooler sprayer on my stock TMIC im boosting around 10psi with a walbro 255 im wondering is there a big chance on mayb leaning out the motor for spraying the intercooler????i also heard that the colder the fuel the more hp is this true??? what are you opinions on it??? only reason is i already installed the nitrous kit and getting ready to go to the track on friday

Leaning out the motor by putting colder air in? I'd highly doubt that. Unless, of course, you've got a intercooler with a big *** hole in it that you're spraying your nitrous into.

I highly doubt that at 10psi on the stock turbo with the factory fuel map and even dry ice on the TMIC that you would lean out.

Yes, the colder the fuel the denser the fuel and there for the atomized bits of gas contain slightly more when they are colder. Mostly though when peple refer to a finned alumunim cooling tube on their fuel system, its there to minimze the heat, not necessairly make the gas 2 degrees, just keep it from getting near combustion temp befre it reaches the injectors.

Question though you said its an intercooler sprayer? Like Cry02? because you refer later to it as a nitrous kit. Im just trying to figure out if you're sprayng ACTUAL nitrous oxide on the intercooler or if this is a c02 system.

im spraying actualy nitrous on the intercooler NOT into the intercooler just onto it

no2 is like a crazy-*** greenhouse gas, why not just spray CO2?

(CO2 is a greenhouse gas as well, but not as much as NO2)

Carbon dioxide isn't a greenhouse gas, plants need it to live and it is what you exhale every day.

Chloro-Fluoro-carbon (CFC) is a green house gas and a pretty bad one at that. I don't think NO2 even remotely comes close to a green house gas, but I could be wrong.

And by the way, nitrous is N2O, a completely different gas. I don't even know if NO2 can exist.

I take that back, CO2 might be a greenhouse gas, I was thinking of CFC's and confused myself.

CO2 IS a greenhouse gas. A greenhouse gas is just a gas that increases the amount of radiation the atmosphere will contain on the planet, rather than allowing to go back into space.

CFCs, on the other hand, are a problem for desctroying the ozone layer, and not a problem with greenhouse gasses.
