would it be good for 250-300 rwhp is the only time you should upgrade the type s is when you go to 20psi or is there a hp maximum for it

Yes the Greedy Type R is for cars boosting 20 PSI or more.
The Type S is the one you want for your car. I have the Type S
and it works great. I called Greedy up, and they told me that the type R
is or higher boost applications.

agreed.
My greedy S held 20 PSI daily on my eclipse gsx. Rock solid too.

I used it for a few dyno runs on teh race gas and 24 PSI. Didn't experience any problems with it.

The Greddy S is very popular with the eclipse turbo crowd. The Greddy type R should be used if you plan to run more than 20PSI on a regular basis.
