CHeck your direction of flow. the FPR should be the last thing the fuel hits before it goes back into the gas tank.

WOA is that true that fuel flows the opposite direction in a jspec? I havent finished putting mine back together but i was really confused at the reversal of the fpd and the fpr...

as far as i know...in the Jspec engine fuel flows into the primary rail, across, down to the secondary rail, across, and out the fuel pressure regulator... and in the US spec its just the opposite...

that is your fpr, it has the vac nipple on it. check your fuel filter my be clogged, and when you squeeze the line are you doing so on the return side of the fuel system? or fuel in side after the fuel filter? make sure your return line is connected to your primary rail ( the one pictured) with your fpr on it.

the one i took a picture of is my secondary rail...and my return line comes off my FPR to the return line on the tank...and the line coming in comes from the high pressure filter (replaced 10,000miles ago) i am squeezing the IN side...not the return...

at this point i cant get it to run...i dont know why...(i think its extremely flooded and every time i de-flood it it just floods itself right as its about to start and stalls out...

No, your picture is of the J-spec primary rail, which has the FPR. Make sure it's connected to the return line.

Why did they switch the placement of the fpr and pd on us and jspecs?

It's a mystery. Nobody's come up with a plausible reason yet.

I was going to say it should be on the secondary on a USDM spec engine.
