Look up a Efan install on wwww.aaroncake.net you can use his schematics to either hook up to a Switch,.a Thermo switch or Ahem!..a haltech!

I was actually a bit disappointed in how the Taurus fan fit the Koyo, I thought it would be a better fit

I bought and returned a brand new one, the motor seemed so small and it did not feel like it moved alot of air when I powered it off a jump pack, I bought a really clean used OEM one and I swear it felt like it was moving twice the air

I only use the high setting, I was going to get the single speed SHO fan but they are hard to come by.

Hey Rob,

I was using a late model Mark VIII fan; it is single speed and I think the same design as the SHO. They have an 18" blade and move tons of air. That said, the late model Mark VIII fan is factory controlled by PWM. It was not a good fan in operation because it was really too large inrush current. It would be like running the Taurus fan using only high speed. When it switched on and off it was disruptive to idle speed, volts etc. Yes, it was wired to BAC function. It would be a great system with say a Delta Current Control PWM, but switched it was a pain. The bearings failed (yes, you warned me about durability on used fans), so I went back to the two speed Taurus fan.

I am using the two speed Taurus controlled by a Vulvo two-speed relay: low on temp and high on A/C. This is a much friendlier setup.

My wolf controls the fan, I have not noticed any idle fluctuations, I only run it on high
I hope it does not crap out on me because I was not happy at all with the quality of the new one I got, if I buy
another one I aint going for the $80 shipped one from ebay that I got last time thats for sure
