Question about front sway bar install
So i bought a front sway bar from ST and I was trying to install it. They include these new wider brackets that are wider because of the adjustable connection of the bar and endlink. So i took off the old bracket but what do you know the connections hold this connection to the hub. im not really sure what it is called... But it connects to the bottom of the front lower arm. So...the problem isss the springs pushed down the hub and now the part that connects to the lower arm is now too low and I cant push it back up evidently because of the spring.... My question is: has anyone else ran into this problem? And could i fix it if i just took off the stock coilover and just reconnect that connection of the hub and lower arm? I'll post pics if no1 understands what im talking about...
The piece that attaches the spindle (not hub, the hub is the part that spins) to the lower control arm is called a ball joint.
Use a jack to lift on the bottom of strut and recompress it until it lines up enough to bolt back together.

sooooo i tried it but it didnt work because the ball joint is right below the strut assembly and also the strut assembly moves left and right because its not connected to the lower arm..... T.T So anything else guys? =/

to change the sway bar all you need to do is remove the 2 bolts holding each bracket on, and remove the bolt holding it to the endlink. why did you take all that other **** apart?

jack the damn thing up and bolt it back up. put a piece of wood between the jack and hub if you have to. its not rocket science. you should probably pay someone to do this for you so you dont hurt yourself.
