Cold start issues??
So my car starts up just fine and goes up to 3k like its supposed to then to 2k and then after about 10secs or so of being on the rpm just keeps going down until its dead. The only way I found to keep the idle is to hold the throttle at about 3k for about a minute then its fine after that. I just changed the oil and the spark plugs. I also put some seafoam in my injectors. I had this problem with my last FC and the issue on that one was the coolant sensor was pulled off but this one seems to be attached there. Anyone wanna shed some light in this matter?? 87 GXL

It could be a number of things. But my best guess would be the airflow meter? I say that only becasue it isn't used for the first thirty seconds after start up, if you are still using the stock ECU. If its bad (the airflow meter) it would die after switching to it's input. This is just a guess. Somebody correct me if I am way out of line.
The coolant sensor being out wouldn't cause it to just die ouright by itself it would make it harder to start though. Can you still drive it and run it decently well after this initial start-up-and-die scenerio?

Actually it would, I had the same problem back in December of last year. It was that sensor alone that was making everything shut down right away. That is the scenario.
