quest for a 5th gear syncro

i am lookign for a 5th gear syncro for my 87 t2. i have the chance to get a whole N/A tranny, would those syncros fit?

and if not, what is a good place to get a good price on a 5th gear syncro and how much are they normally?

The T2 and NA trannies are TOTALLY different.

The synchro itself should be relatively inexpensive - like $10 or something. You'd have to get it from the Mazda dealer. If you've never rebuilt a tranny before, you'll need to find a shop to do the work - you can just do 5th gear without going through the whole tranny.

the synchro's are different. i'm not sure exactly what is different, but the synchro's are the wear parts in the tranny anyways. it makes no sense to try and reuse it.
