Put in new o2 sensor but got a quick question.
i yanked out my old o2 sensor and noticed that the i had to crimp the ****... well while i was crimping the wire for the o2 sensor was too short... so i extended it with some 12 gauge wiring... i hope that doesnt problem anything?

A little further up in the stock wire, there is a ground shield wrapped around the O2 wire. As long as you don't solder/ crimp the ground AND the O2 wire , you're ok.
As long as you don't use a wire too small, you're fine.
I'd solder and use a heat shrink though.

i remember when i was hookin up the wires there was a loose wire on the Connecter of the o2 wire... it didnt seem like it went in any obvious place.. is this the ground wire u speak of?

while we're talkin about O2 sensors, i want to ask another question.....where is the O2 sensor wire on the main engine harness?...mine broke off and i cant seem to find the O2 coming from the harness......thx

There should be a single black wire at the wire harness where the BAC wire comes out from or around that area. It may have some frayed wire around it if it's cut that far . Make sure you DON'T splice into the ground (cut it off for extra room to splice into the O2 wire).
