if it were an ink blot test, i would have failed. i saw peni. nothin against the mirrors, they just look like they should be covered in public. indecent exposure laws and all. you should paint them to look like *****. i'd give ya props.

well, we coulda really been smart asses and repeated the subject:
JDM RX7 FC3S AERO MIRRORS RARE!!!!! NEW
if they dont fit, its just plain bad marketing.
its funny how 'JDM' is included in so many item's topics that really aren't jdm.
the seller has a good rating, but note they're coming from Japan (or that's just a ploy for more shipping money and that extra coolness [its really from Japan! why does the return address say kansas??..])
good luck either way.

yeah i could care less about the JDM thing
im just looking for some red side view mirrors for my TII, as the passenger side mirror is missing its glass....and they are both cracking and look shitty
and the price on these look good..
anyone used mirrors like these....i mean are these from a s5 or similar or what?

actually, i plan on getting rid of my driver's side. well, i don't plan to, but wouldn't miss it. i thought about it, then looked over at it (while driving) and realised i never use it. period. it felt weird looking at it. i don't know if the passenger one is required. for some reason i don't think it is, but as usual, i could be wrong.

i think just the drivers side is required...
there are some civic hatchbacks i have seen that are stock that only have one side view mirror....the passenger side just isnt there, and the molding where it should be is complete so it wasnt taken off or knocked off....
go figure

I guess some of you youngsters don't remember this, but back in the 70s and early 80s most cars didn't have passenger side view mirrors. My 1980 and 1985 GLCs didn't come with them, though I think you could order one for the '85. The base FBs from 79-80 have only the driver's side mirror too.

btw...if they really are JDM, then the alignment of the mirror will be wrong and you will have a hard time looking out of them. However, your passenger will be able to see nicely out of them.

they're aftermarket, so they'd be considered "j-spec" if anything. uhg, so many terms.
how would the alignment be off?
usually, for u.s. vehicles, passenger side is "obejects in mirror are closer.." whereas driver is normal. i don't know about right hand cars.
who is steve markum?

My friends '92 Civic CX came stock with NO passenger side mirror, just a flat molding peice in its place. My '87 Civic Si has a passenger side mirror, it's all a matter of trim levels when it comes to Civics.
I personally couldn't live without a drivers side mirror, the passenger side I couldn't care less about.
Those mirrors do look pretty saggy.
