Pulling A/C
How do you go about pulling the air conditioning from the FC? Mine works perfect, but, for space and performance needs, I want to remove mine. Because it is still charged, do I need to have it done at a shop, or can I do it with my buddy? Pics and or URLs would be nice too!! Thanks!!

So, say I want to be rather environmentally un-friendly, what tube would I pull to decharge the system? Also, exactly how dangerous is this?

Well theoretically this could be done by pulling the line out of the reservoir. The reservoir is located under a plastic dealy-bob in between the front bumper and the fan shroud. There is a little hole in the plastic piece that allows you to look down and see the top of the reservoir. To remove the plastic thingy, you just have to push down on the center pieces to those plastic caps, and pull the caps out. Then just unbolt the line going into the reservoir. How dangerous is this? Not a clue, but don't breath any of that **** in, or do it in a residential neighborhood, cause its kinda loud, and a green vapor will rise. Yeah, I'm not recommending this by any means, just letting you know how it might be done, if one were so inclined.

Treehuggers and greenies abound out here in the NorthWest. I'm surprised they don't protest me and my 7 pesonally. If you can see green in that little window, then there is refridgerant in it. Not only does it spray everywhere, it also sprays that A/C lubricant oil grease gunk crud along with it. It's not just a gas inside of there. I tried to be neat by not opening it all the way up, but the rag (to keep the spray from getting on everything) I had on it froze the nozzle shut. When I did this, somewhere there was an old American-Indian dude with a tear streaming from his eye.
