puking smoke
puking smoke
Here is one for you guys. I have an 89 N/A GTU and my car had trouble starting in the morning, AKA when it was cold. I found out that that was my thermosensor that was disconnected. I pluged that back in and the car starts right up. Now, immediatly after fixing that problem, my car pukes blue smoke at start up followed by white smoke. I dont understand what could be wrong. Please help me figure this one out.
Your motor is burning oil and probably coolant. Oil smoke is tinted blue, and coolant comes out white and smells very sweet...kinda stomach churning though.
Do some searching and you'll probably find your answer.

you sort of flooded you car,but Not enough that it required you to "deflood it".The smoke is likely Excess gas from Trying to start it,and the White smoke..Well,I can only guess that the Cold start is Still connected. If you feel that you should Compression test the car to make sure that the internals Are OK,then by all means go ahead.I had an Rx7 that would Puff, just slightly on Start up..when cold..then be fine all day long..the Compression was near 100psi.
