Up at the bodyshop still.
I'm awaiting a deposit from Tinvestor for the group buy of the kit. If he comes through, the group buy will be closed.

The modified Kirk Racing roll hoop has been done for some time now. It has been taken out of the car and is waiting on me to drop it off at the powdercoaters.

Not much to report otherwise.
I'm hoping it will be done before Sevenstock.

It will be going into the vert in the near future. At this point I just want to drive the car and enjoy it for awhile before I tear it apart again.

The 13b is not. I'm hoping the S5 rear plate will prevent any cracked irons. I've already cracked an S4 iron not to long ago.

My 20b has a 3/4" billet aluminum "sump plate" that replaces the oil pan with larger bolts. That will prevent twisting better than any extra dowelling will.

There are also several tension bolt stud kits out there now as another option.

GOD DAMN!!!!!^^^^^

Im loving that. I really like the work youre doing on the wide body stuff as well...

One other thing...was that originally a bolt in cage that you welded door bars to? It just looks alot like a Hard Dog spec miata style cage.

How much does this type of fender body mod cost? Does anybody know? I don't like those wide body kits that look like the fenders have that plastic pop-rivit look. But I always wondered what this type of work costs?

i think he was actually working on making kits. pricing was $4 or 5k, been years since i heard about the turbo vert or remember his GB interest thread regarding the widebody.

his was one of the most aggressive looking and best for the FC, but you still have to modify the body regardless. nothing is a bolt on kit to a unibody chassis car.
