I am thinking about doing a TII swap into my 1990 vert. If I do this, I would sell the n/a drivetrain to offset the overall project cost.

I have a fine running, passes emission sniff test, mid 90'son compression engine. Doesn't smoke or consume coolant. Has been on Evans NPG+ for over 6 mos now and that was a real asset. The 5speed tranny has no grinding, no whining, shiftes fine w/short shifter. Car has 144,000 on the clock, I have no evidence that the motor is not original, but it is as described above. Buyer could drive the car with the drivetrain in it before purchase.

What would this engine/tran be worth? Any guesses? Located in the DFW TX area. I have a truck with a liftgate so I could deliver in the DFW metroplex for free.

 

well i jsut bought a longblock s5 n/a with tranny, wiring harness, and ecu for $500. figured ide give you an idea what it would be worth. i would say atleast $400-$500
