There is a thread in the 2nd Gen archive that answers pretty much every question about premixing. All kinds of good stuff in the archive too.

hey i recently ordered a few quarts of the idemitsu rotary fuel lube from rotary performance or mazdatrix or somethin, and its only a .5oz/gal ratio so a quart lasts for a few tanks, and now i always premix.

im nt sure if its humanly possible to tell the small differene that the premix makes, but if it is, i swear my car runs a little bit smother, especially when i start it

If you are premixing, you remove the pump and install a blockoffplate in it's place. Also, the oil injectors need to be removed and replaced by SHORT bolts.
