one ounce per gallon would equate to a bottle per fillup. Thats WAY to much, i tried that and nothing but excess smoky smell.
Now i run approximately 3 ounces per 14 gallons. Im sure you could run more or less, but remember that this is a higher ratio than what racing carts run, and they use that injected oil as a primary form of lubrication and cooling. You can run more if you want, but 3 per 14 is fine for me

We run around 74:1 in our cars (one bottle to 8 gallon fuel cell), and get some visible smoke.
On the street, I run 128:1 with QS TCW-3, one bottle per tankful. No smoking at all.
I have seen the internals of a 70,000 mile engine running 100:1 premix, and it had just some slight carbonation. 128:1 seems to me like it would be about perfect for Hi-Po street projects.

thanks guys, now, new problem...
the car start up today Idle fine, but!!!( there is always a BUT!!!) almost no respond when i press the gas pedal. the car will stall and die, now! it's a brand new streetport engine. so i'm letting it idle. all day today, with 1oz per gallon ratio Premix, 1 octain booster.
what will help to make a new street port to break in better?? so maybe i can drive it today... should i keep my rpm around 1500+ rpm??but not more than 4500 rpm? will it work?? cos like i said it will idle fine,, but i can't drive it...going nuts!!!!

Sounds to me with my previous expereince, you are running to rich and fouling your plugs? When I ran 1 oz to 1 gallon my plugs liked to foul out easy when idleing for long periods of time. I do 8oz to 10 gallons, RB recomends 3.5 oz to 5 gallons. I also have just broke in my street ported 12a.
I have been using shell low ash injection oil for snowmobiles. I strongly beleive that this oil smokes way too much, actualy smells like a snowmobile.
What brand is the lowest smoke, like a redline racing oil or something. Maybe I will call around to the cart and sled shops

idk how much you put in for completely blocking off the omp but I put in 4-8 Oz. per 12-15 gallon refill

1 ounce per gallon is a 1:128 ratio (there are 128 ounces in a gallon). Thats the first I heard of a smoke coming from this mixture.

Check out the last couple of posts to my thread and you can read some testing done on boat engines with different brands. Its really interesting.

do you guys just pour the oil in the filler neck, and before or after you add the gas.
I am curious, because, it seems mine is not mixing thouroughly and injecting more oil at some times rather than others. Would it be advantageous to actually mix the ga and oil in a jerry can

Add premix first then add gas - the gas flow helps distribute the premix evenly.
Half a quart per tankful is an easy way to remember.  It's usually around 90:1 ratios, but it's not enough to smoke the exhaust.
