Power Steering Rack Question

Is there any difference between the S4 and S5 power steering rack? How about the inner and outer tie rods?

only that some of the S5 racks were 17:1 instead of 15:1 that was found on all the S4 power steering racks.

The 17.2:1 racks were in the GTU-S - so grab the tranny and diff while you're at it!

Another question that comes to mind is what kind of power steering? Vehicle speed sensitive units are three line racks (15:1 ratio), while engine speed sensitive units (which come in both 15:1 and 17.2:1 ratios) have two lines. The tie rods are all the same part number, FB01-32-240A, from 86 through 91.

Which models came with the 2 line units?
