Question Power steering question

Could anyone enlight me with the problem with heavy steering after quick right & left motion?

I've read some information in Japanese, but it only indicated that it's adjustable. I want to cancell the heaviness, but not prepared to yank the whole thing.

Thanks!
Ricky

What year/model rx7 do you have. They released several different speed sensitive (and non speed sensitive) powersteering racks through out the years, some were cheaper then others.

Ok that model used the engine RPM based steering rack If your RPMS are higher I'm assuming that your power assist percentage is lower and therefore more sluggish. As for the adjustability, I wouldn't know how to adjust that specific type of power assist steering.

Here is the options for your year showing the type of powersteering you have

Thanks the stats!

Well, it wouldn't be a big problem if the amount of the power assist remained the same, but it's a little hard to keep it always high. I guess I need to practice heel & toe!

Otherwise, I might have to yank it out.

Thanks!
