LOLOLOLOLOLOL.... I know what ya mean! I bought this car 6 years ago with a blown engine. Just met my wife. Since, she has seen me stick two blown engines in it, and finaly this one. I have to say, she has been patient. Although, I have been remodling our house the entire time as well, keeps a smile on her face!

I also have a 82 I am rebuilding. Of course, it hit the back burner then I got the recent engine, but will be back in the garage soon cause I am heading to Rotaryshack to pick up my engine next month. Can not wait. Have had this car since 97. These images from 2004.

lol, you remind me more and more of myself. I bought this car 6 years ago and it's been a constant project from day one. my wife doesn't like rx7's at all, infact she said if we ever got a divorce her first question to potential boyfriends would be do you own an rx7, haha. Well I thats a good idea about remodeling the house cause as long as your spending money on her too I've had to do the same thing as well but not to the extent of remodeling the house, haha.

I got 4 90's, 3 45's, 4 straight connectors, 1 180, 1 10' roll of 6 an hose, then all the stuff on http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fsystem.htm. (well you don't need the moroso fuel splitter but you do need the NOS one). Also depending on what you are looking for I got the a1000 -6 an fuel pressure regulator instead of the -10an one.

oh yeah and it's 2 of each on the 6an to metric fittings.
oh yeah and your also going to need 3 6an male to male adapters for the fpr (make sure they are the ones with the oring on them)
oh yeah and you'll need a 6an female to female connector and a 6an male to female 90* fitting.

Well it might be a little silly question but....

is it possible to run the exact stock fuel system in AN SS lines? No parallel system, just the one with AN fitting and SS hoses

I mean, I dont feel like buying a brand new FPR when my stock one is still working well

I'm just way too pissed off at seeing little leakage here and there on my fuel system.

any input appreciated

thats a lot of trouble to go through and lots of money to spend. buy the time you spend all that money you might as well just get the fpr and upgrade to the parallel fuel system. Don't think you could use an fittings with the stock stuff just because the stock fpr uses barbed fittings but you could just use -6AN line and use hose clamp but i think thats somewhat ghetto myself.

do it once do it right

how much approximately did it cost you to do your fuel system conversion?

thanks

4 to 500 bux depending on what you do but count on getting everything i mentioned in this thread and you can see how much exactly it will cost. I need to do a write up on the exact parts and where they go but i'm too lazy. But I do mention everything I bought in a post in this thread.

I am i right in saying to can use S4 TII fuel rails on a S5 TII.... so you can then add AN fittings, lines and aftermarket FPR

yeah you will need the s4 fuel rail because the s5 rail has fittings that don't come off of it. Once you get the right fuel rails then you can just get the right fittings witch can be found at summit or jegs. The basic parts list including part numbers for the fittings that adapt the fuel rail to an fittings can be found here http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fsystem.htm

Thanks viper for the compliment. I've got the upper and lower intake manifolds, exhaust manifold and turbine housing off getting ceramic coated now but as soon as they come back I will snap more pics. Also the battery relocation is finished as well as a few other little things. Hopefully some time real soon it will all be done. Oh yeah did all the other part numbers work out for you?

oh nice job man, looks very very nice! basically what the the ones you mentioned do is extend the upper rear fuel rail out. I'm not sure if the k2rg fuel rail already does this but with my stock rail it was just not clearing the uim. so this exteded the fuel line out a bit so it would clear everything.
