I go to a speed shop everyso often. They almost charge twice the price. In quantity, summit seems cheaper. But for one part here and there, I go to the speed shop.

 

I think the difference is the fuel will dump on the ground from the feed area but if you run your FPR on the firewall it will spray fuel on the exhasust or top of the engine and run down on to the exhaust.

 

True I suppose.... Im not losing any sleep over it though.

 

It's a matter of having a small cross section of fuel hose versus having part of your fuel system sitting out there.
If the clutch does come apart, it's usually hot pieces of sintered clutch material or a copper composite.
When this explode like that, it can send spark flying all over the place.

Wankler, What kind of pump setup are u using? & are u using a Fuel cell?

 

I started with a Earl's fuel block, inlet and two outlets with a modified thread and spacer to fit the pulsation damper. Go ahead and flame the damper. I think it's purpose is useful to control pressure surges.
Parallele lines to the rails outlet lines to the fuel reg. I proud of that location. It bolts to an exixting boss and fits well even with the TMIC bracket. When I go to the Air/water IC, I can clean up the fuel line routing a little by getting rid of the bracket.
Fuel reg to return and complete.
Lots of fitting and what-if line routing.
This set-up lends itself to those who want to keep the TMIC. It also gets the fuel reg away from the exhaust.
