Its a s5 TII motor, turbo , manifold, all the correct lines, dual tps, s5 front housings....I can assure you of that....this is just wierd??

ALL FCs in Japan were Turbo'd. And as I understand it, finding a Turbo over here is like finding a 5spd in Japan or Austrailia =P

Jspec dude
ALL Japanese RX-7's where turbo (those lucky SOBs ), so they of course made turbo auto trannies.
Just we didn't get them because they limited autos to certain US models.
I'd clean it out alot since autos arent usually revving high, might have some carbon buildup. Go ahead and ATF away!

holy ****, even another person beat me to respond. God damn
They actually made I think like 300 N/A FCs because the drifters loved the powerband of the N/A's. Very Limited.
The Japanese car companies actually respond to the public (like nissan to the sil-eighty)

Nissan didn’t make the Sil80, it was “created” when enthusiasts started bolted Silvia panels onto 180SX’s. “Sil80” is just the nickname given to the conversion because it's has the front of a Silvia and the back of a 180SX.

Yep, the Luce came with a Series 4 spec 13BT and a 4-speed auto.

EDIT: Oops, just noticed he got a S5 motor, so it's defintely out of an RX-7.

Nissan made several hundred factory sil80s after the popularity of the drifter special Sil-Eighty.

Dude, when you remove the convertor and flex plate, keep the counterweight. This will save you having to find/buy one if you but a light flywheel, most of which need the counterweight. Good score!
