Is it possible to starve a engine of oil with crimped oil cooler lines

i had a fresh rebuild put in my car. it fired up and ran for about a min before it siezed up. I pulled it back out and everything except the front stationary and rear stat gear and bears were good. i was cleaning the engine bay today and found that the rear housing cooler line was twisted. But if it was crimped wouldnt it oil cause higher oil pressure then starve it???

I forget which route the oil takes(went dry sump and feed front and rear seperately now) but all of the oil goes through the cooler hoses whether it goes through the cooler or not. I'm pretty sure it goes in the rear housing then through the dowls at the top to the front. So yes a twisted line would starve those bearings first, the oil has to go through them to get to the rotors/bearings through the e shaft.

oil goes through the oil pump, to the oil cooler, through the rear line, up to the oil filter then throughout the engine to all the bearings. answer, yes it caused the failure, sadly to say.

Depends on how badly it was crimped. Did you have oil pressure at all? But it does sound like this was the cause.

I thought there was a bypass pressure and temperature for the oilcooler, under 140* or over 156 psi and the oild will bypass the cooler
