Porting S4 Wastegate
I did alot of search, and pretty much all the porting was related to S5. Is there any diretions for porting a S4 wastegate? Also, since I am getting my turbo off anyways, is there anything that I might as well do while I am at it?? thanks for every reply =)

When I ported mine, I just ported as close to the edges of the WG door as possible although I believe you can go more then that. You could also port the smaller scroll on the exhaust housing to match the larger one and smooth them out somewhat.

WASTEGATE PORTING HOWTO
Remove turbocharger from car.
Insert turbocharger in vise/something to hold it.
Remove the piece of metal at the back that the exhaust attaches to (just 2 bolts.
Remove the wastegate door actuation rod from the wastegate door (its just a little clip)
tie/hold/whatever the wastegate open.
Find something that's the same size as the hole you want to make (I just used a die grinder bit)
jam it in, when it's all the way through, you're finished.
Make sure you get all the metal shavings out of the turbo, I used an air compressor and a vaccum.
Reassemble the turbo, and now you're done.

die grinder bit??? hmmm.... i am really not very tool oriented, so i am guessing i need a drill to do this??? and this die grinder bit...do they come in sizes??? and if they do what size do i need? thanks!
Some people say to use a dremel but It only took me about 30 minutes last week using a drill and a 20mm bit. I had bought alot of cutting oil to do this. I think the flapper door is only 23mm
I would go as big as possible I only had access to a 20mm bit and was in a hurry. I have heard that as long as the flapper door covers 75% of the hole it is ok but I wanted mine 100% covered....for now. I havent had any problems with boost. I cleaned my wastegate out with compressed air. Just make sure you stuff a rag or something into the wastegate passage to keep some of the shavings out.
