porting hp estimate
porting hp estimate
wel i call a place called j.r.s rotary performance and talked to a guy that told me that if i got a street port/ exaust port and rotors from a 89-91 with a new eccentric shaft and flywheel. that i would be able to get over 200rwhp. does that sound about right? also if i could get that much power how hard would it be to do the porting my self if i got a template.
Power estimates are very difficult and really quite pointless if you ask me because they always differ.
As for porting, it is difficult and unless you have some spares sitting around I wouldn't attempt it. You can find out a ton about porting by going over to www.nopistons.com/forums/ and look at their porting thread.

He's way backed up to do that for your engine.
He will most likely tell you to find a place to do it. I know because he told me the same thing.
