Hes saying larger diameter pipes will be cooler than smaller diameter. This is true, but only to an extent. Obviously if you have your turbo rotary pushing all of its hot exhaust gases through a 2" pipe you will have all that heat in a smaller area rather than if you had a 4" pipe the heat has room to spread out and cool off somewhat.
BUT like I said this is only marginal. And aluminum is a horrible exhaust material on a turbo rotary for all the reasons stated.
I'm still trying to figure out this boxy muffler design though...makes no sense.

I wish I was driving!
Nope. I've never made an exhaust out of cardboard and KY either. One of the benefots of not being retarded is that I don't waste time and money on things that I know are completely stupid.

Can you please post a video of your car idling and a little WOT with your Hushpowers.
get this best bang for the buck muffler on the market in my opinion. with a custom made exhaust tubing from turbo to muffler.
forget all about those HKS, Apexi mufflers/exhausts... over priced and arnt any better.
went from a 2.5" with a resonator and 2.5" muffler, to a this 3" all the way no cats/resonator or anything with this muffler and the car got much deep and quieter. cant beat it in my opinion...
Hushpower, look it up on Jegs...

Here is my Greddy power extreme catback. RB 3"downpipe and 3" magnaflow midpipe.
By the way, on the drivers side exhaust, it was moving just enough due to stretched donut hanger on a 45 mile trip recently that it was touching the rear bumper and melted it. It was 40 degrees outside and it was all highway driving. So even with the cooling effect of cold temps and airflow at 75mph it was still hot enough to melt my bumper.

why can't you use aluminum for exhaust, but many cars have an aluminum engine block? Maybe because the exhaust doesn't have a cooling system like the engine does? and aluminum blocks usually have cast iron cylinder walls tho right? Anyways, could you coat the aluminum exhaust in something to increase its heat resistance? Ceramic coating? I guess it could get expensive...
Also, I've read that titanium loses a lot of its strength when it gets hot, then again idk the specifics so I'd have to look that up. I don't get the box mufflers either?
the exhaust does look very nice though.
