?? Geeze people.

Chuck with rotary extreme already makes these. He's been doing it for some time now and has even been trying to get rid of his current stock.

It's on his site so go get it. The thing that 99% of FC owners don't realize is this: We do not drive a civic. These custom parts are not made by the 100's so don't expect to get Civic pricing on custom parts. Even the "replics" are expensive. That's just the way it work for the quanties that "we", as FC owners, purchase.

FWIW, he has an all CF one as well that's more like $900.

The only thing tha tI don't like about that hood, and it has kept me from purchasing one, is the fact that the center vent is actually a separte piece that is riveted on. I just don't like that.

Otherwise, it's a great hood that should be very functional.

No that's just it. The hood is two, entirely separate pieces. YOU have to rivet the two pieces together

If it was a single piece I'd seriously consider it... but two pieces with a rivet?? No thanks. The hood with work for either a TII or an NA... same difference.

Damn!

I don't think I can get it by the end of this month.

I might be buying a car if my POS doesn't run.
Damn now I gotta get moving.

Damn man, I could probably do it. What was shipping to FL? So I got less than a week to save $100? Any idea on the price of one thats reverse scoop? Same price if we can get 10 people paid in advance? I really want a reverse one, how soon could those be done once ten people are paid up?

Nice work.

I'm interested in a non-turbo hood, because the forward scoup, though looks great, defeats the low pressure I want nearing the firewall. I'm also up for some vented fiber fenders, large long vents behind the wheel. I might shock someone here, so take that shot of tequila now: I'll be PAINTING OVER THE FIBER, unless I can get metallic silver resin or maybe a plasma deposition of metal onto the fiber.

These are video's from Fiber Images of them running over their hoods with a truck and trailer and 2 guys jumping out of a truck on the hood. They also drive over a stock hood...and it isn't pretty LOL

That should clear up any quality questions anyone might have

BTW. these go back up to regular price on Thursday morning.

damn I'm struggling to confirm by wednesday.

Once I get an ECU I can confirm if it will run. Then I can use my funds to get the hood instead of car.

I don't think people would be willing to pay for the CF trunk. They would be $549 if FI did them. I could have them made if I could get at least 5-10 people prepaid. I just thought it was a bit high to do, but that part isn't easy to lay, like a hood so the cost is up there.

Just ordered the TII CF hood.

Didn't wnt to get it so soon since I am still debugging the car but I can't afford to waste $100.

I just hope to god my car is fixed by putting in a new ECU. If not then I can no longer buy a car since I just bough this
